The desks in the science class today were rearranged. They had been in groups so 4 people could sit together like at a dinner table. We spread them out into rows instead. The first class seemed so quiet it was almost scary. By the last class of the day the students had found their voices.
This evening was a meeting of SCA folks for the local group. It lasted much longer than they usually do. After, my daughter and I went to Friendly's with some friends that we haven't seen in a while for ice cream. Friends and laughter are my
happy things for today.
