Shoes

Shoe making is exhausting work.  All afternoon I visited with friends and they guided me through making shoes,  well one shoe.   One is as far as I got.   Being able to do this and having such patient and supportive friends are my happy things for today.

We made a duct tape pattern with a sock and my foot that then went into paper.  Seam allowance is added then the pattern is traced into the leather. 

 Don't let the R fool you, these are for my left foot.
