Space Quilting

Another lazy summer day.  Gideon and I played Minecraft for a little bit while I was watching him today.  My daughter and I got out for a short walk and Pokemon Go.  I worked a little on making garb.  It was a lazy day, but I am so glad that the heat seems to be in the past for now.

My happy for today is a little thing someone posted on Facebook about quilting in space.  One of the  NASA people on the space station quilts at home and tried their hand at it in space.  How cool is that?  There were some problems because of the lack of gravity.  So many different inventions have come out of the space program.  Here is a site that lists some. 

There is a new statue in town.
